The Delaware Office of Highway Safety Announces Enforcements for April Distracted Driving Awareness Month Data shows that in Delaware, between 2020 and 2024, there were 9,213 crashes, 174 serious injuries, and 20 fatalities involving distracted driving on our roadways. Driver inattention, distraction, or fatigue accounted for 21% of fatal crashes in 2025.
